So after blowing a turbo i got another wich was the wrong one k03-053still a k03s but off a 150bhp golf so it was restricting the power big time so i got another k03-052 after changing sensors and checking so much just fitted it and now i have full power but still some teething problems there ie boost surging and thurbo whining/ticking any ideas please

any way of getting it scanned?

 

previous boost surge related posts tend to track back to N75 on the way out..

No lights up on dash so dont know if will show any problems

no lights means nothing....

Whats best software to read it then?

VCDS seems to be the most used and useful one.

 

do a quick search, in the main page, as theres a map thread showing people with VCDS,

you should be able to find someone on here with it within shot of you,

and will most likely be more than happy to help you out

 

anyone know what this pipe is called as i think its my surging reason ive currently taped it up for now

its the pcv pipe (goes to the y pipe) thats part of the breather system, either buy new original, or a silicone replacement (look on ebay they are better imo as last longer than the original items) and you can get the upper y pipe as part of a set to match as those are worth changing too as the rubber breaks down with time.

Samco did my complete car as a show car for foc :-) so they make the entire kit as I supplied it many moons ago :-)
