Hi guys noticed over last couple of days loud tapping sound coming from the middle of the engine, it's not from the injectors or charcoal canister.

there is plenty of oil in there,I've had it plugged in to computer at the garage and that's still not come up with anything..

any help would be much appreciated starting to worry as have long trip in couple of weeks and don't fancy blowing up the engine.

Assume its a 1.8T?

Get the oil pressure checked, you might have a restricted pick up.
