Quite a difference - thanks but no thanks Skoda...

So I was in the dealers and sorted out the free 7 day driveaway insurance in readiness for collection of my new Citigo, and of course they like to quote for the full year if they can.

I thought you might like to compare and comment on the difference - most things are equal here btw, although there might be a £100 difference in the excess:

Current fully comp insurance on vRS Fabia estate with eSure : £260

This changes to £133 on the Citigo, if I stay with my current insurer.

However my loyalty might be swayed by the competitive or not quote of £440 from Skoda themselves. I nearly laughed down the phone, but I just said that I'd think about it...
