Hi guys lookin for abit of help with changin the look of the rear thinkin of debagein it and tinting the lights but cant decide witch to do left or right ?? Any opinions?? Sorry its a poor effort...

That was my 1st idea... then thought of jus leavin the red reflector (left) and think that looks pretty mean but cant fully decide

 

I wasnt comfortable tinting the sidelights and brake lights you just know in this day and age if someone hits you up the arse that'll be the reason they give. I done the indicators and reverse lights, very subtle but gives a nice effect. (Grr666 takes credit for the original idea)

the sidelights are dim as standard .... so as above ^^ i would leave them alone ..... how about upgrading to facelift lights? they freshen up the rear nicely 

I'm guessing as it's a 56 plate it's already got face lift lights, cant see for sure though. 

Anyone got before and after pics of facelift vs non facelift lights?

duhh lol my mistake .... could try pre-facelift lights ....

Have a look at DanHam's fabia thread, he tried a few things with fl/pre-fl/tinted rear lights.

Matt1chelski my lights are abit differnt to the ones in ur pox so im guessin ive got the face lift lights...

I dont think im guna totaly black them out so thers still guna be quite well lit an also thinkin of puttin superbrite led bulbs in ??

Side by side, bit dirty but you get the idea. Not sure why you want a picture from the front, you'll not be able to see them haha. Front lights are no different.

Used this:

eBay item number- 330924193718

Colour- LB (Light Black)

1 piece at 99p is 12"x24" and iirc it's plenty to do the whole of both light units, even though I only done the clear section.

Look closely at the slats and you'll see the difference.

Old one is like the lower grille, all the slats facing the same way and skinny.

Newer one is different with slats angling off to either side with kind of a triangle

one in the middle.
