Fabia Monte Carlo 1.2TSI (86PS) 40,000mile update

Featured Replies

Well just clocked my monte over 40,000 miles (ive owned for nearly a year and brought it on 18k)

What can i say its still going strong, its spent most of its time on dual carrigage ways/motorways doing a 50mile commute and running visting my gf in next town (10mile away) plus the odd jobs and trips around towns

And what can i say?? It still feels great to drive its as smooth as it was when i brought not a bad motorway crusier tbh ive yet to have any trips to the dealers other then routine servicing and it came to my attention that the contis (about to be changed for Khumos(well fronts done 2 weeks ago)) are the original tyres from new which is impressive.

Ive not pick up on any rattles only thing showing wear is drivers seat bolster on the base which isnt great and apprently not a warranty issue which is annoying but not the end of world.

Its starting to get more of rest as due to work ive been handed a corsavan (typical i spent 2 years trying to leave a corsa C for the fabia lol) which not only means the millage wont keep climbing out control but also make its even more enjoyablemto drive. i cant wait ro get behind the wheel of it at the weekend. Still puts a massive grin on my face now as when i got it. Ive said it once il say it again ok its not a VRS its not a rocketship but the spped of which it lets you attack corners is plenty to smile about.

To sum it up a great little car that lived up to my expectations. I still find it fun and its yet to miss a beat. I couldnt be happier :)
