Drove to work this morning, and switched the car off, removed the key and rather than turning the sat nav off the display just showed the time, like it does when it's turned off whilst driving.

 

I have locked the car and the display is still showing the clock. It has never done this before and I have not been playing with the settings.

 

Could this be a problem? Do I just reset it?

I can't remember if it will go off after the Columbus has settled or not as I don't have the time displayed.

A reset won't do any harm (<, > & Eject - I think, although it might be 'i' & not eject).

It was still on when I locked the car! It has started to stay on for about ten minutes before disappearing, never done it before only this week.

i think a trip to the dealer is in order before my warranty runs out in case it is something more sinister.

Yes if it is still doing it after a reset, definitely advisable.
