Well you'll love my car lol Staggered wheels on a fwd. 3 piece split rims so will no doubt fall apart. 5x130 - 5x100 hub adaptors. cheap tires which are stretched. Stupidly low cheap coilovers.

  • Do you like de mango?

  • What's going on! Why does everyone keep saying my name?     I heard Jimmy Savile used wheel spacers.   Just saying..........

Wooo witch hunt a go go.

My Skoda is standard but it's not the only car I own and nor does it being standard mean that I don't know what I'm talking about.

Meh... I think ive gone passed caring

I dont like u so **** what you know, as said all car mods will lead to something being most likely less than perfect

In the trash with all our cars......

ill ring H+R now mate and tell em they may as well go home.  whilst im at it... i   may as well contact wheel whores too and tell them Frisco said your all mugs and drive bodged cars!

I am planning on putting 18's on my Vrs but want to run 18 x 8.5 on the fronts with 18 x 9's on the rear. Now if anyones is running this sett up what ET offsets are you using but not after sill camber ones as want it as flush as can get it any help is appreciated

to the OP,  I have 18's on my estate, with 225/40 all round and lowered it does get tight at times, but make sure your rear beam is central and it will help, there are also some beam adapters which keep wheel in the centre when you lower it.  Stretch is the real option on rears but depends how low you want to go, if keeping it high then shouldnt be an issue, someone else on forum put 9's or 9.5's on rear, without beam adapters. Looks a little tight.

You do that.

Dont stretch or you'll **** it even more

Mines w4nked it seems so dont fack yours !!!!

And staggered rims must **** it to so just dont

End of brisk.... Back to stock

All go home people we ruined it for everyone !!!

We couldnt leave the cars alone :(

Are you 12 years old?

Frisco....  can u answer me honestly if i ask you a direct question..

Wooo witch hunt a go go.

We didnt say you didnt know what you are talking about, or know, but there are ways to put your point across, Words written come across worse as no inflection in them like a voice.

I never said this was the only car I owned either. I have several cars. Vectra 2.5 v6 sri. 20 year old Corsa GSI in Carabic Blue.

Unfortunately U have hit Lloyds Nerve, Have you actually seen his car in the flesh? I am guessing not.

Putting sweeping statements that upset people not really cricket!?!?!

Your a ****ing ***** mate !

And as u can tell "i hope" ur not liked by a fair few

So in all your knowledge i can only hope u also know how to go **** yourself

Never do lol

Ok this year i do have less than good tolerance but hey...... Thats justified

Ish......

I do try and keep calm these days

But if nothing ive put the * machine thru its paces :D

Lol

I left the thread for a few hrs and come back to this ha ha

So to summarise

Lloyd your car is ****

Dave your car is ****

Gee your car is ****

Anyone else with spacers is ****

My standard baby the nuts boom can't go around bends fast but no spacers ha ha

P.s we fitted hub spacers machined from titanium on a 100k+ race car does that mean its now ****??? P.s no geometry change was done during testing but will go back to them today and tell them there ****

Lmfao

P.s also as said Lloyd is like 10ft tall and scary so good luck lol but you will be safe if your more than 10miles away as car don't go that far not in one trip ;-)

i drove to kent i'll have you know.....

So once in 8 years it ventures a far :D

10ft lol

I believe im a little more stable today ? ;)

But then again ive only been awake 5 mins

Rewind to the beginning a question was asked and answered. And then two pages so far of WTF ! Still made me chortle.

Seems I missed this. :)

So safe to say, "bodge" is not the ideal choice of word then? :giggle:

Well..... If i glued them on or used chewing gum to hold them in place

I will just pinch your GTR :)

Mmmmm GTR

Spacers can be and are used to correctly set up a car. Just think, wider wheels, or wheels with a different offset but the ball joint stays in the same place - it's just another way to get the best.

H&R are among the best, but to be honest, it's not difficult to make a spacer! A good spacer will be just like bolting onto the hub itself.

I assume that Frisco also thinks that two-piece discs are "a bodge" since you can obviously get one-piece discs which fit fine... :drunk:

Edited by Babs

Do you know why two piece discs are used?

^^ is this dude for real?

im going on wiki to learn of all these new things Frisco speaks of..

List:

Geo... Geomi something

Space ships

Brake d1cks

bodger and badger

Mangos

brb

My point being that if I said wheel spacers were a bad idea because they add needless unsprung weight why would I think 2 piece discs are a bad idea since their main advantage is being lighter than cast discs of the same size.

I'm also curious where I said anyones car was ****ed
