Hey,
I've recently purchased a Octavia Estate and wanted to get a couple of things done to it.
Mainly, rear parcking sensors, bumber protector strip and inqure about getting a ipod cable for the aux!
 

I have e-maild Fish Brother's in Swindon and they seem a little slack on responding and information.
So i've been trying to look for reviews of local dealerships to see where is recomended and what people thought
of service and cost! can anyone recomend me somewhere please??

I live in Cirencester and dont want to travel to far, my closest dealerships are: Fish Brothers Swindon and Blade Gloucester !

TBH I wouldn't use either Blade or Fish Bros.

Winner in Coleford are good, but a bit too far.

Rob (owner), Jo (his wife, runs the admin side) and Ian are straight-up guys, and have done a fair amount of work on my cars at reasonable prices - (my Superb has been in there for 3 weeks atm as the oil pump packed up and the sump had been damaged by previous mechanics, resulting in a wait as it was on back-order from Germany. Oh, and they lent me free of charge an old Passat whilst mine is in the shop.)

Cheers ! had a scan through both of the dealerships comments, neither fill me with a massive amount of confidence, but i dont really have the time to drive much further ! :S

Fish brothers are absolute cack didnt want to know when i enquired about an octy vrs fobbing me off sayin had to be 23 to test drive the car so went to blade gloucester who were more than welcoming and i ended up buying there..... warranty work came up tried fish bros as most local they wernt intrested at all fobbing me off again! So back blade again who took the car there and then and provided me with a courtesy car. Could not fault them at all!!

Robert Bamford (now Blade) of Gloucester have a great service department - if Craig's still there. 

 

Haven't been for a while, but used to get my Octy serviced there.   I have less experience of the sales side, but we did buy our latest Octy from Startin at Worcester...

Just got off the phone to Craig in Gloucester, really helpfull and gave me the information i needed!

He quoted me nearly £100 cheaper than Fish brothers, told me there will be a two year warrenty (Fish Brothers: 1 year)

and they will do it in 1 - 2 hours (Fish Brothers: 4 hours) and they will be colour matched !

Been stressing about this as i wanted it done, and its put me at ease. the swindon dealership were only half interested and

havent respinded to half my questions! which if you want the custom and continued custom surly you would go that extra mile!

All booked in now thank you again for your help everyone! so glad i signed up to Briskoda ! ! !
