Bluetooth+

Featured Replies

Anyone got a car with Bluetooth + yet

I know it improves signal and thus battery, but does anyone know what extra voice control it adds

I have it. No added functionality as far as I know.

You've not noticed that it allows you to voice control your phone? I'm in two minds over selecting this option. Buying almost all my options blind!

To my knowledge all octavia iii have that since they all have bluetooth. I thought the bluetooth+ just boosted signal and improved phone battery life. That is all the brochure claims for it. However I wouldn't know what non bluetooth+ versions are like cos I've got the bluetooth+ !!

Video above claims it allows voice control of phone.

I have voice control of phone (making calls etc). However my assumption was that all octy iii have this. I can't confirm or otherwise. .... need someone without bluetooth+ to let you know what they can or can't do.

I dont have BT+ and I can voice control phone (well sort of, if I want to ring random numbers from my phone that I forgot I even had in there!!)

Omg the actors for this are horrendous esp the woman! So annoyingly fake and insincere that I just couldn't watch it! Argh!

She's not an actor.

Then they should use one LOL

I think she's the product manager at Skoda. I like that they used a normo :)

Im all for using a normal person but stop making it so scripted and unnatural!

Bluetooth+ is aimed at improving the quality of signal inside the "phonebox" using the car antenna, so that your mobile will not struggle and use more power to stick to the network. Voice control is an independant feature. I think it's standard in all "normal" bluetooth equiped octavia III

Not sure if you've advanced the discussion or just clouded it :P
