I've recently had the unfortunate experience of having the ignition barrel on my Skoda break (don't ask me how it happened - I parked up one night, and the following morning the tumblers wouldn't accept the key anymore). I've ordered a new one, which I'm picking up later on today. Problem is, when the old one was disconnected, I forgot to take a photograph of the wiring on the back of the unit and now I can't remember what goes where. Does anyone happen to have a diagram, or even a photo, that I can use as a reference point when I re-connect the new unit (when I say unit, I mean barrel, steering lock and brace)?

Just happened to have the Haynes with me when I came on here. If the pins on the ignition switch are numbered this is what they say it should be:

 

30 Red

P

15 Black

50 Yellow

16 White

 

They show two 30 poles and two 15s but internally each is connected to its twin.

 

Not as much help as a photo but until one turns up...
