Just a quick shout out to ask if anybody is going to the Gold Cup at Oulton Park?

 

 This is a fantastic three day event, however the Sunday is limited on race action as the local church does not like the noise of racing cars!! So racing starts at 12 on Sunday, Saturday and Monday are full days though.

 

 A fantastic line of of very exotic and rare cars all being used for what they were intended.

 

 If you are going post up below and maybe we can get a bit of a meet going.

most definitely going to come up for the Saturday, may stay over till the sunday if i can find a decent local venue to pitch up

Unfortunately I will not be getting any free tickets to the Gold Cup, so i will be going on Saturday, Sunday and Monday and buying a weekend pass, see you there!

what day are you arriving? Sunday or Saturday?  I only live close so will probably not camp at the circuit, however you never know..

I thought the Gold Cup was at Cheltenham

not gee gee's Auric, this is classic motorsport at its best, the Oulton Park Gold cup, this was an event that laid the foundations for F1 to grow from and there are some seriously rare and exotic cars on show and being raced.

 Are you coming to cheshire to have a look?

Probably will on the Sunday night but I haven't booked it yet, just bought tickets for the Sunday Monday
