I've just replaced my steering rack and now I have a knocking noise from the front right aera. I've checked ball joints track rods etc. The only thing it can be is the strut top bearings. It knocks when I steer and when I hit a bump. Any body else had similar problems. Help would be great thanks.

hi mate, i had a problem which sounds like yours, i took it 4 garages and no1 knew into i changed the wishbone with new bushes's and walla! it went, it was the back bush on the arm 

I've replaced bushes to. If I jack car up no noise which made me think top strut bearing. I'll double check bushes . Thanks:-)
