Useful to diagnose why you get check engine lights, re-calibrating stuff and getting logs of inlet temps etc.

Can you use it to monitor instantaneous value (or log over a test run) the boost pressure versus rpm to see how it behaves? If so how does it compare with having a permanent boost gauge, as you have both? Up until now I hadn't considered the VAG COM really practical for monitoring boost.
