Here we go then, general info stuff;

Took a early morning drive to just outside Uxbridge Sunday Morning for a spot of small car racing, pick my mate Crazy Dave up on the way. On the way down I enquire about the laptop bag, ah he say

Yep, I've got it :D

Useful to diagnose why you get check engine lights, re-calibrating stuff and getting logs of inlet temps etc.

Can you use it to monitor instantaneous value (or log over a test run) the boost pressure versus rpm to see how it behaves? If so how does it compare with having a permanent boost gauge, as you have both? Up until now I hadn't considered the VAG COM really practical for monitoring boost.

Meanwhile I have got myself a boost gauge. It will have to wait until I can afford it
