Hello. My bonnet release that pops throught the grill is old and damaged. I took the latch off and unbolted it but couldnt seem to manouve it out of the grill. Im assuming you can buy it separately?

It is removable give it a good wiggle and you should be able to remove it

Just get a new one. I had to the metal was rusted inside it and swollen up and couldn't get it out. I cut it off!! Make sure Skoda order the right part. There are 2 different ones for the mk1 Fabia. If I remember correct the part numbers are the same but one has a 'A' after the number for the facelift grille.

yeah thats exactly whats wrong with mine, the metal is not only rusted but also broken!

Think it was around £5 plus the vat
