Just wondering if you kind people could list what to be weary about and to check (if possible) before accepting the car.

Having read this forum, I can see a range of issues have been mentioned from B pillar trim issues, ratting dashboard and electrical faults etc

I am soon to get a new Octavia, God Willing.

You can still return the car if it develops faults after you have accepted it - clearly there are some things you cant assess until you have driven it away. Its always the same with new cars you never know what will develop until you have driven them a bit.

 

Some obvious things like the B pillars are easily spotted and your visual check should just be have a damn good luck around the car as most of their PDI checks are visual, fluids etc
