LED number plate lights

Featured Replies

Well after taking ages to sort it for my mk2 i have now ordered a mk3 vrs, i borrowed one yesterday for an hour and it didnt have led number plate lights, will i need vcds again to switch them on

Shouldn't that be using VCDS to disable number plate light checking?

Yeah thats what i meant, so they work without light coming on

Has anybody got a link to where I can get led number plate bulbs. Can they be got error free?

They say they are error free but didn't work on mine, so just found someone with vcds and turned the led number plate light option on

Bearing in mind that this thread was initially about the Mk3 Octavia, I wonder if the Fabia people realise that some bulbs only work inserted one way and not the other?

I could be totally wrong but at least that way you'll see if the bulbs actually work and consequently then need the VCDS error checking disabling?

Edit: A slip of the digit!

Is there any quality led or led modules that can replace the standard does anyone know?
