It sounds to me that you really don't want to part with it. Can't you leave it with a reliable family member for a while. What happens if you either don't like working in Singapore or the job just doesn't work out.

Then you will be gutted when you return to the UK. I would give myself a bit of breathing space and see how the change in lifestyle works out.

 

Happened to me when worked in New York, loved the place but not the work!
