Call from the dealers - should be able to pick up on Friday!! Also they will hold the p/x value on my 5 series from 3 months ago. Impressed with their service again.

Excited muchly!

I take it that's a stock vehicle, by the pure rapidity of collection.

Congrats mate. It seems like every estate on here is white!

Nice one, not sure what dealer you used but mine was the same. Guaranteed trade in price from 4th August and also my monthly pop has dropped cause I've paid off more off my mk2..........also a happy happy, enjoy the car when you get it.

Nice order. Didnt think mud flaps were available on the vrs tho?

You used the word "boom"?

DBA?  No, software developer.

No, no.....scratch that - I'll go with my original instinct......DBA yeah?

Front mud flaps fit fine, the rears need moulding to shape like the mk2. My dealer service manager wasn't too happy to heat and mould the rear ones for me. Luckily I used to work in the trade so I'm getting access to the ramp at my local garage and a helping hand to get them fitted.

You've done well. I ordered my combi VRS on 7th Aug (white again), with no troublesome options selected and I have an unconfirmed build week 49. Seems I've just been unlucky and having to wait longer than most.

Ahhhhhhh ok

Home now with new car!!! Damn it's good.

Early days but car is all good. Down the road home (35 miles) and averaged 53mpg! Short shifting just now as dealer recommended that the 1st 200 miles or so to just help the engine in. He did say that you could boot it from the off if you really wanted mind you.

Touch screen radio/main interface is excellent (bolero) - very impressed and I'm glad I stuck with the basic model rather than the "overpriced" sat nav version (£1350 extra seems a lot)

All very nice and easy to use inside the car - Car looks great with the white colour/black grill/mirror/roof rails etc.

Extra set of mats chucked in as well. One rubber set of mats and one carpet set of mats.

Overall very happy bunny with pictures to follow tomorrow hopefully if weather stops ****ing it down!!!!

Nice, congrats :-)

Very nice looking car as I know already, mine came last week same white with black pack, red leather interior and columbus

I like the look of those mudflaps as like others I didnt think they were available

Were they normal mk3 octavia ones and did they require a heating cutting to fit at the back as you mentioned earlier in the post?

mudflaps were offered by the dealer as part of "their" pro pack (not a skoda thing, a dealer thing) - got mudflaps, rubber mats (as well as the proper skoda carpet maps) and rubber boot liner for £150. No idea how they were fitted or otherwise, just that they are fitted!

Thanks for that I'll have to make some enquiries. The tractors round here are stirring up a lot of mud ie lots of cleaning required

Looks nice and the same as I'm going to order tomorrow all things going well.

On as 2 year lease deal too as my 2010 VRS goes back on Friday.
