How much is this vrs worth?

Featured Replies

A good friend of mine who is a trader bought a Cat D Fabia Vrs in hope to repair it and sell it on. He's told me I can have the car for whatever it has cost him. Usually I wouldn't touch a damaged car but the damage on the Fabia has not affected that chassis at all and it's cheap! No front or rear end damage, all it requires is a passager side wing and door. Paintwork is a little tatty and could do with a few panels repainting.

Spec:

05 plate

142k

Fsh

9 months m.o.t

6 months tax

Rear tinted windows

Front and rear wind deflectors

Egr delete

Miltek exhaust

Remap (190 apparently but no proof)

It's had two new front shock aborbers

It drives spot on.

I can take it off his hands for £1750. What do you guys think?

for under 2k i would say its good value.

Price seems good mate

I taje it theres no history with it?

So to be safe id get cambekt changed and serviced so factor that cost into it aswel

1500 id say

That milage normal car with out the cad d would get 2k so cat d probably 1.5k

Sounds ok for the price

The car has a lot of history I've been told. I only want it if it's good value, if it's just an 'ok' price then I would much rather buy one that hasn't been damaged.

just make sure its had the cambelt done or thats another £500+

Yer i wouldnt give any more than 1.5k either on that if im honest.

just make sure its had the cambelt done or thats another £500+

Those bloody gold plated cam belts! Tbf £500+ is a ridiculous price and it doesn't cost that much, however, do make sure it's been done not only so save yourself some money but also the health of the car.

Thanks guys, I've decided not to buy it. I'd have only bought it if I was getting myself a bargain. I'll just wait for a clean red one :)
