As title says really my drivers rear door will not open from the inside however locks and unlocks fine and can open from the outside.

 

Guessing a clip or something has come off behind the doorcard as I can hear and feel something pulling when I pull the inside handle however doesn't seem to move enough to activate the lock mechanism.

 

Any help would be great as I had a search but could only find people who's outside handle wasn't working.

Stupid question, but the child lock isn't on is it?

Can't believe I didn't think of that.  Seen as the only other 4 door car I have owned was a E30 3 series childlocks have not been part of most of my cars.  A quick google and the problem has been rectified lol.
