Ok so the exhaust on my vRS has started to blow a little so ive decided tto go down the stainless route. Im going to have a custom one made and fitted but have a question.

 

What bore size pipe is best? from looking around the net most seem to be 2.5" but the company im using (who come highly recommended) are saying with there system 2.25" is best for performance. Will this make alot of difference overall? Im also gonna have a decat and downpipe done at the same time.

 

Any advice would be appreciated.

2.25 is basically standard for some parts of the system so I wouldn't bother. Go 2.5 inch. Just makes more sense to me.
