New car dilemma

Featured Replies

Slightly OT but is a FL2 much better than the FL1 then? Quite like them but always wrote them off due to the first ones poor reliability.

Yes, the FL2 is a completely different car.  Quite an improvement.

The FL1 has a number of issues it suffers with, including the IRD unit.

But as they are all getting on a bit you don't have to visit Land Rover garages for open wallet surgery as independents know them inside out.

With breakers and independent garages a FL1 with the TD4 engine shouldn't prove that expensive to keep on the road.

TBH, I drove a FL1 at work, I barely fitted in it :D Fat **** I am. I'm assuming the FL2 will have a little more room.

Did the FL1 not have a surprisingly low NCAP?
