My dealer tells me that the wife's MC door strips if ordered, will arrive grey & will not look good sprayed black as the surface is dimpled.....

 

This morning I spotted a 13 plate Yeti with smooth black door strips, (Rubber horizontally mounted half way up the door) that would look just great on the MC...is there something that I don't know?

 

Would the Yeti door strips fit the MC...?   Any one fitted these?

They wont fit as different doors, what youve seen is probley the yeti adventure special edtition.

If you buy the stadard strips and give to a decent paint shop with the black magic colourcode they can rub them back to a smoth finish primer, spray then laquer them job done (it may cost you a bit tho)

It may have been the SE, VERY SMART in red with a black roof.

 

The cost locally to buy-treat-spray is too high...

 

I've just purchased & had fitted a secondhand BMW horn to replace the ridiculous standard Fabia squeeker...nobody laughs anymore!!
