Rubbers around the windows

Featured Replies

Hi All

I tried to do my drivers side window down this morning, it slightly went down then straight back up. It is not moving at all.

On closer inspection, the rubbers on the outside are slightly corroded on all windows  :wall:  :wall:  :wall:

Is this a common problem? Would this be causing the window to not open? I guess as it's gripping so much it's not allowing the window to move.

Does anyone know the price from Skoda for these rubbers on all windows? Is it an easy job to fix?

Many thanks

P.S, this window that now doesn't moved used to squeek like made when doing up and down..... if that helps anyone with a solution or answer

Just an update.

I forgot about the window getting stuck, went to do my window down and it fell through the door  :wall:  :wall:  :wall:  :wall:  :wall:

In garage now, waiting for him to sting me to fit it back
