Just been told by my dealer UK allocation of yeti reached any comments

What does that mean??

What does that mean??

I did a double take too :D

It means the UK has far too many Yeti so they wont be selling any more

In truth, I have no idea what it means. No more orders for pre FL models perhaps?

Guessing it means they wont take any new orders for pre facelift models?

Just been told by my dealer UK allocation of yeti reached any comments         (sic)

orl a bit pointliss then

This happened with the Octavia when the facelift and mk3 came along.

If you're after one with factory extras you're out of luck until the FL lands

With that old TV advert making a come back advertising 0% finance and 3 years free servicing they are aiming to sell them.  If they can't, they'll knock them out to the rental companies for 6 months and filter them onto the used market in 12 months.  I don't think that'll help the residuals.

I guess it means no new factory orders with any options, standard spec versions only. This occurred with the Octy 2 phase out although that was a completely new model.

I'd guess that the (reduced number) existing lines are still producing our versions to work existing orders whilst the other lines are retooled for the FL and as time goes by the current new production will cease quite soon.

So, in a nut shell, I guess to order now you have a choice of a standard model spec or one that is in the production pipe.

Anyway I still love the current version and will now amble off to the corner (Where's Bob with the beer) stick my fingers in my ears going La la la and live in denial that there will be an FL model and the current is the best.

Well I guess that shuts the door on one of the options I'm considering.....  a new fully loaded L&K CR170DSG. I will now have to wait for the FL. Not that is a problem mind.

Lost me.

So the plural for Yeti is "Yeti" - same as for sheeps :-P

If the plural of mouse is mice, then why isn't the plural for house, hice????

As in "She had a very nice hice"

If the plural of mouse is mice, then why isn't the plural for house, hice????

Good point. It works on louse and lice.

Back on topic

My dealer wasn't aware that they were unable to order a factory build Yeti.

Maybe it is because the works are closed for the summer holidays and nobody is at the factory to accept the order..........
