My first attempt at digital doodling. Took me around 30 minutes using GIMP v2.2.

I have phoitoshop but have neber got round to spending the time trying to work out how the helli t all works. I guess I just don't have the patience for it, so all credit to anyone who can actuall do any of this stuff :thumbup:

This one's actually a pretty simple technique that I picked up from a tutorial online somewhere.

I'm just enjoying having software that's at least as powerful as photoshop but costs not one single penny. Ah! The joys of open source! :thumbup:

i maneged to get adobe photoshop cs2 off bear share! took about half an hour :D

hmm well i think it is because your shareing files on the internet and not actually downloading it illegally, hence bear share...shareing files....i dont download stuff that often because i beleive in buying the actual product....but on some occasions i do download stuff but rarely :)

It's when you install and use it without a license that it starts becoming illegal...

Which is precisely why I use the GIMP. Its open source so completely free to download and use. You can even get it for windows if you insist on using that!

I love taking the colour out. I used photoshop for this

Very simple to do, but you need some patience as you have to mask the object you want to keep coloured, add a new layer (colour layer) then you just paint out the colour
