When I pump the brake pedal with my foot I get a whooshing noise coming from the pedal, a bit like air escaping from a foot pump. Is that normal on Fabias ? I can't remember hearing this kind of noise on any other car I've owned.

If no-one elses does it, has anyone got any idea what the problem might be ?

Whooshing noise??? You sure you're not driving a trailer truck that uses air brakes??

Brake servo operating?

It means you should be pressing the accelerator more

Sounds like a normal noise TBH, something to do with the master cylinder etc.
