Now I heard that insurance premiums were going down... mine is now up £90.... (£477 now, was £380)

 

sooo.... phoned around (there is only one other broker who will cover my car for tuition purposes (being group 29) AND my dual role with f/t EMT and part-time instructor..... and they came up trumps!

 

£410... all in.... so, I went through my wants... skoda fit options, any increase? no. different size winter wheels / tyres (I have 16's 205/45/16, same RR) no increase. right the,,, *cough cough

 

this is the bit I always fail on , being specialist instructor policies..... er... RARB ? yes sir 15% increase, result! I've found an insurance company that will let me modify the car I teach in! lol....

Who's that with please Shark? I use IC+ at the moment, think the only other I knew of to do ADI cover was Adrian Flux?

Lloyd Latchford , they (http://www.lloydlatchford.com/) gave me 2 quotes one from a company called "elite" with loads of extras (I dont need) and the one I'm talking about is with a company called "enterprise", first one I've ever found to allow mods.....

 

I'm currently with IC+ but and like the fact that they are underwritten by allianz (And I dont know the 2 companies above) but I suppose that my concerns would only be tested if I had to claim....

 

NOTE: I am going to call IC+ and explain what I've been quoted, and see if they will match the cost t/c ect they did last year! however they have never allowed mods.....

Thanks for the info, my Monte is up for renewal soon so it's handy to have other options. Please update on IC+ if they do match or would match if no mods :-)
