warning lights

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone can help. Our fabia has these warning light on 20130809_181653-1_zps38b01a76.jpg

All 3 came on at the same time the handbrake light flashes continuously. they cam on while on the motorway when the car is switched off then on again they go away. This has happened 3 times in 2wks. The car brakes fine. is this a common fault?

The car is a 04 fabia 1.9 vrs tdi

Probably an ABS wheel sensor fault, ideally you should get it scanned with VCDS, there is probably a member near you who could scan it for a beer token or two.

Hopefully I'm sure that's covered by the warranty. weird thing is me and the girlfriend have done the same journey without any warning signs coming up. But both times it happened we had the same mate in the car as well doing the same journey.

I'm in the Portsmouth area if anyone can help

Thanks I wasn't aware of the list. Much appreciated

I'm pretty sure that's an ABS/ASR fault indication. It's probably either a wheel sensor (qv) or alternator low charge.

In the latter case the most likely faults are the signal wire or the sprague clutch.
