What car mount do you recommend?

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I'v bought a new phone and i want to put it in a mount while driving so i will not fall.

I thought about using the storage compartment in the front dashboard in order to  prevent the sun

heating the device.

Is there any box or a mount that will fit the storage compartment in the front dashboard?

Thanks in advance

Brodit pro clip everytime. I've mounted mine in front of the centre air vent nearest the driver so if it is hot the air con can cool it down. They're a bit pricey but fantastic quality

+1 Brodit every time. I have an active cradle for my HTC one X wired into a switched live so that whenever the engine is running it's charging. Handy for sat-nav as this totals the battery in no time.

Have you got a direct link to the brodit clip you recommend? So many to chose from. Hard to work out which is the correct one!

I used two; Brodit pro clip that fitted between the centre vents and stereo. Then put a switched live in the top box and a generic claw type holder for the phone. Was easy to do and was a great location for viewing.

Another vote for the Brodit. I've got one that is fitted to the side of the centre console in mine.

Brodit all the way.  Just get the pro clip that suits you and just keep changing the cradle when you change your phone. They are a bit pricey but worth every penny. Bespoke to each model phone.
