Featured Replies

I think i need a new high pressure fuel pump as the plastic part of the sensor has broken off of mine! its not leaking but i am having running issues surging slight rough idle ect, can anyone help??

How did that happen? Did it run ok? Before?

i think the previous owner was a bit heavy handed and broke the hpfp whilst refitting top engine cover and the intake temp sensor also broken but ive a new one coming today just need this pump

If it isn't leaking and it's still plugged in it should be ok.

The connection to the sensor will be broke inside unfortunately. You need to try pull the top back up and glue it in place, which may work if its not completely snapped off. The only other option is to buy a new pump as the top sensor is not available seperatly or find a donor used pump.

Which plastic part? The pressure sensor or the regulator on the top? The pressure sensor can be replaced.

the sensor at the top of the pump that is broken isnt replacable according to skoda so i will have to get a new pump by the looks of it another £150 big ones!!

that said though i wasnt getting any fuel codes relating to that being broken

That's a good price, the last one I got was £165.
