I have it on good authority from someone who knows what they are talking about, who works for skoda, that the vRS will be a 2.0T FSI 197 bhp and 2.0 TDI 170 bhp.

Right, as to the "so I've heard" bit - I have it from a very reliable Dutch Seat source that indeed the Leon Sport-Up 185hp version is "only" a Sport version, as I already presumed. The Leon FR with the 200hp 2.0T FSI will follow later this year (spring '06 in Holland), with the 240hp 2.0T FSI Cupra with bigger turbo/IC to follow late '06 - in Holland at least.

So perhaps we can expect a 2.0T FSI 185hp Elegance version, next to a proper 200hp vRS. And that diesel...

(all in euro-horsepowers of course, instead of bhp...)
