Drive the deal/Orangewheels etc..

Featured Replies

I know this is probably in the wrong section but has anyone used one of these services??

Will only certain dealers oblige with the discounts, obviously I'd want a car to come from

my local dealer.

Orangewheels seems to get a significant discount on Skoda cars, it's very tempting!

These companies have specific dealers that they use to fulfil orders.

However, I recently got a quote for a new VW Tiguan from them and took it to my local dealer. While they couldn't quite match the 11% discount offered by the online sellers, they were able to give a 10% discount and I get to deal directly with my local dealer.

Its worth a try!

Same here. My local dealer was about £200 off what the online companies were offering. I talked them into throwing a set of rubber mats and a boot mat in and went with them, simply as you start a (hopefully) good relationship with the dealer.

So far it seems to have paid off. Been given a discount everytime I have been in to buy bits and bobs and they were more than helpful with a warranty job recently.

I used a service like this to source my octy. I gave them the details of the spec I wanted and they found one in the right spec and colour for me. they then sent it to DM Keith in Leeds so I had to go all the way to Leeds to pick it up but I got the advantages of picking it up from a Main dealer. Doing it this way I got a £5000 discount without having to haggle so that was a bonus. I have done it the other way as well, when buying SWMBO's Touran I used the prices from internet brokers to drive down the main dealer and get a better deal however it took a good hour of haggling back and forth.

Its up to you to use whatever you feel most comfortable with.
