Has anyone done on thing to protect the metal on the inside of the trunk and the edge? If you ask me it's just waiting to be scratched :-(

I like the clear one, a worthwhile investment I think.

As for the sidepanels in boot, I actually plan to carpet them to match the boot floor, protection and a bit of soundproofing.

I use this stuff to protect my bike. Helicopter tape, quite cheap on ebay. It is good for stone chips, tough as hell and would work in the boot and on the bonnet too.
