Steering wheels

Featured Replies

Has anyone else noticed that the 2013 model elegance has the same steering wheel as the sport but pre 2013 elegance has the steering wheel from a fabia vrs?

been looking at used ones online to get an idea of options and colours and noticed it

the top is a 2013 car and the bottom is a 2012 car...........

The elegance doesn't have the red stitching of the Sport model, but it is now the new shape Skoda range wheel. I don't think it was ever the vRS wheel as it isn't perforated leather, but it is a 3 spoke.

The top picture looks like the leather steering wheel I ordered for my car

Yes, the wheel in the first picture is the sort you get if you go for the Leather Pack option for an SE model.

I don't know when the switch took place, but the Citigo brochure dated January 2013 shows the older type, as in the second photo, but the version dated May 2013 shows the new type.

They changed the design of the steering wheel just a few months after launch coinciding with the new badges and wheels on the Fabia and Roomster. We have an earlier model Elegance and it has the same wheel as the lower picture.
