Hi all,

Searched on the site, but with not much luck. My 03 Mk1 Elegance is on 167k and the dreaded service indicators come on.

Looking at my service history (currently on variable servicing due to mileage), I'm due a major. However, the cambelt was done at 110k, so that's going to be due too.

Just for a laugh, I called my local dealer to get a quote. Good job I was already sitting down!

So, as the title says, can anyone recommend a good independent near any of the following areas?

Uxbridge, Middlesex; Christchurch, Dorset or Swanwick, Hampshire

I got the car at 52k and bang for buck I've got to say it's probably the best car I've ever had.

I'd use any of those three without worry.

If you ever come close to Salisbury I can recommend a good one.
