Do you mean that as a try out you followed people closely in traffic etc with your Front Fog lights on,

and nobody made a display that they were annoyed by that?

 

Maybe they were,

but just accept its yet another someone driving with Fog Lights on when there was no Fog.

They knew their Highway Code and were not so silly to use the wrong lights at the wrong times.

ie Putting on Rear Fogs just as a some sort of message to you.

Maybe you were following people that never look in their rear view mirrors!

Usually Front Fogs are set low to work as they should in Fog, and not too much bother when just closer behind you.

 

I have no idea what the Fogs on a MK1 Octy, are like.

Are they any good in Fog when you need a low and spread beam?

the fogs are projector units set next to the reflector headlamps and nope not just follow but oncoming and i did have them on with both dipped beam on and off even police(traffic cops ignored it)
