I didnt think this would be happening, but I have just sold my house and according to the wife this is apparently not a necessity as we have 2 cars already

 

I purchased it with the intention of my mates wife having it. That didnt work out and we kept it for a bit of fun. As always happens life has got busy and the wife has the hump with this being on the drive. 

 

It has got quite a few mods done before I purchased the car, most from GT Tuning

 

Uprated intercooler

Uprated intake

Smaller pulley and remap

4 branch exhaust and sports cat

GT Tuning Porsche front brakes

GT Tuning rear disc upgrade

Uprated suspension from a GP model I believe according to the previous owner

Lower brace

OZ Superleggera 17" wheels with Yoko Parada Spec 2 Tyres

 

Number plate is quite good - RO03ORT (Robert) and I have been offer £1000 on its sale by a company but I havent got the time to mess about with transfers etc

 

Probably more but I dont really know

 

Its covered 66k and has a folder with lots of info

 

Just got 12 months MOT and has 5 months tax

 

It had a few niggles when I got it

 

ABS light was on - This was due to the Recaro seat, now gone after fitting standard seat

 

ABS and Traction light - Fitted a new ABS pump at a cost of over £500! Now all sorted. The new part has a lifetime guarantee from BBA Reman

 

Handbrake Light - Faulty switch

 

It has a crack in the rear bumper. 

 

Asking price - £5000

 

I have got a price from We buy any car of £2800, so I could take the brakes and other bits off and sell it to them and make my money, but I would rather it went to someone who will enjoy it.

There isn't really any at all

I'd ring We Buy Any Car and tell them to get stuffed, they're nothing but rip-off merchants who invariably give you one price but lower it considerably when they actually come to look at the car.

Perhaps try joining MiniTorque or similar and putting it in there?

It's on mini torque too

That's a bloody good forum tbh and I never really got into minis until now.

It'll give my Octavia a run for its money.

I only suggested we buy any car to show its a bargain if someone wanted to have a bit of fun and then still get a few quid.
