Sport review thread

Featured Replies

If there's one already then mods pse move this ..

But I've found a great write-up which has helped to reassure me as I have been questioning my decision to get a red Sport (pick up on Thurs) to replace our 1.2 69ps Fabia (recently written-off by our 18-year-old) as our family's run-about car. I'm looking forward to a sportier ride than the Fabia and hoping I'll find the power ok.

Anyone else got some good read links?

Yet another decent review :)

You will enjoy it, I have a fabia vRS but loves driving ashs 'sport' , it's great fun, you don't miss the power if you are alone on a good road, only if you want to overtake things , the handling is great, steering is sharp, and engine sounds fantastic, gearbox is nice to use too ( though I will never buy myself a manual again after living with DSG!) overall it's a fun car to drive, and puts a smile on your face :)

I've already posted this one before, but might as well add it to this, as that thread only turned into another pointless Elegance vs Sport thread.

There is a good report plus a short video about the Sport on the drivingspirit.com website.

It is a pity they do not offer automatic on the Sport.

They say the VW UP GT might not go ahead now on the Up Owners forum, but the electric UP will be out next year.

All great reviews, and very reassuring that I have made the right choice of Citigo :-)

I think that's what the OP was pointing too in the first place.

There are quite a few reports about the Sport and all are quite positive.
