Hi all,

I've had my 57 octavia vrs tfsi for just under 2 months now and all had been going well until this morning. I was coming back from work and whilst accelerating off a roundabout in the lower end of the rev range there was a hesitation from the car. It hesitated and juddered and then continued to accelerate as normal. Whilst it was doing this the exhaust system light flashed for about 5 seconds and then disappeared. The car did it about 5-10 times in total along the journey. It only does this when you accelerate relatively hard.

Does anyone know what this is or what's causing the issue?

Read the fault codes. It could be a coil pack/spark plug on its way out or worse case a clogged injector. The fault code should give you a good idea.
