Columbus Problem

Featured Replies

Hi There

The Columbus unit in my 2012 Superb has started misbehaving this week - none of the buttons on or around the screen work, the volume will not change, and the phone will not come thhrough it although I can still make calls via bluetooth.

Is this the dreaded Columbus freeze? Has anyone got any tips that may work to reset the unit?

Many Thanks

Use top arrow buttons and far right button on left top to reset, by pressing all three in simultaneously. Hold in until screens goes off then release. You then get welcome screen before it goes blank again. Then turn on by using power on button.

Hopefully this will fix it

Top right button and the < & > buttons is a reboot; that should clear it.

Thanks for your help guys - worked a treat!!!!

Top right button and the < & > buttons is a reboot; that should clear it.

This hasn't happened to me yet, but just in case it does...............

I can see the < and > buttons (top left) but what do you mean by the right button? I have 2 on the right, one to eject the CD and the other is the mic.

There are two buttons in the top right corner. It is the one on the right: the mic button.

Thank you.
