Which in car cam?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Have been reading around on here about cameras and I def cant afford the likes of finevu, blackview, itronics. Anyway people on here (and the internet in general) seem quite happy with the two I have put in my poll which are also in my price range. (mobius vs smartcam 2)

However I dont know which one to go for! So which would you choose?

I dont really think I intend on leaving the camera in the car when its parked up. Also I would be wiring it up to turn on/off with the car. Sometimes I do long trips so would prefer to be able to record the whole trip rather than over writing every 20 mins say.

Or if people dont rate these very well what would you go for in that kind of price range?

Thanks in advance

bump. pleeeeeeeeeeeease vote!

I had a cheap and cheerful (£25) one to start with (which is now rearward facing in the back window).

Decided I wanted a better one up front as a permanent feature.  Budget initially was the same as yours, but I decided to scrimp/save/sell my Dragon T12 on eBay until I had enough pennies to join the groupbuy on here and get a Blackvue 400.  I'm glad now that's what I chose to do - worth the additional money in my opinion.

Can't really comment on the two choices you're thinking of.

I use my iphone with witness app and its pretty good bought a cradle for £3 and 3 metre cable and a griffin USB charger and its very stable the möbius gets good reviews

I am replacing my fleet blackvue 300 units with the 380, have sent you a PM about a used one as it's well wthin your budget.

If you get any more used cams coming up, please pm me a price!
