After only a few days of owing my new (to me) Octavia some kind person has put a deep scratch in the wheel arch at the front, gon through the paint and I think down to th base coat, this is about 30mm long, I am thinking of uses Chips Away for a repair, I have no experience of using them before and would value any other experience of them. Good, bad or other?

I used them for a rear bumper scuff on my previous car, & they did an excellent job for £50

Used them twice now, both times they were excellent and I couldn't see where they had resprayed.

It's obviously down to the skill of the person doing the job, but my experience with Chips Away was also very good.

£75 five years ago for a repair about the same size as yours by the sound of it.

Both my wife and I have used Chips Away in the past and on both occasions, the results were excellent. You'd have had to have looked incredibly hard to have seen where the repair had been made. I'd recommend them.
