BBK for Superb 3T

Featured Replies

Hi guys!

I need a few tinkers or advises.

I am thinking of changing the front brakes to an after market BBK like Tarox or others.

But i read from somewhere that the front pads are fitted with wear sensor.

If i will to change, will it cause any engine check light or warning on the meter or MFD?

As aftermarket BBK does not have this pads with sensors, is there a way to disable this using vcds?

Anyone here changed BBK to their Superb, anything that i have to watch out for when changing?

Thanks!

What Superb do you have? May be easier & cheaper to fit the v6 brakes.

I think they just want to change pads, not complete disc/calliper

You can code out brake pad sensor light in VCDS, so that you can use any compatible after market pads or complete kit for that matter

I have a Superb 3T.

I like to change to a Big Brake Kit.

The Whole complete braking system, like the disc, calipers etc.

Something like this :

I found out that, there is a brake pad wear sensor on the front. Like to find out, how and where can i disable it. (thru VCDS)

If i change this, will it affect others? and create check light?

This is in Chinese, but pictures says a thousands words  :hi:

As per Black VRS Oct, wouldn't it be better and easier to convert to V6 brakes??

Over here, getting aftermarket brakes is easier than getting this V6 brakes, as we don't have this model over here.....
