Hello all.  Sooo I have had issues with my VRS for a little while now; trouble changing from 5th - 4th & 6th - 4th.  I thought it may have been the gear linkage, so this was whipped out and replaced along with the gear stick etc....still no change.  My mechanic seems to think it now must be the GEAR SELECTOR?  (Described as a part which sits on top of gearbox, about size of a coke can held on by 3 x 10mm bolts?  Firstly is this the right name for the part?  I'm really really struggling to source one; have contacted various guys breaking motors on here and Ebay but all let downs.

 

Can anyone help with the part name or sourcing one (or ideas of how much new?)

have you tried aligning the gear selector????.......there is a post in the  fabia tech section..................
