Dpf end wrong, simply a sensor but vag man couldn't t fix it on site cos the holding nut had welded to the bolt.

Skoda garage can t fix it as the nut is too embedded on the bolt. So must replace the entire dpf.

£1500 . Luckily on warrantee but next time it won't be. This can't be right. Owned the car 3 months. Love it and so does my grand daughter but what should I do. Help! Nice to met you all. Read the links before but never came on myself. Cheers.

Oh I forgot to mention the dpf runs at 700 degree c when "on" so that's why the bolt and nut fused together. That can t be right.

Hello and welcome to Briskoda.

Sorry I am not familiar with the DPF so cannot comment.

But I do know the DPF has to run at high temperature in order to burn up the particulates.

Glad yours got sorted during the warranty period.
