I started this topic so anyone can share their negative experience with long waiting times for spare parts and or repairs.

Unfortunately, I am the one with a very bad experience, if not the worst, having to wait for a month, without being able to use my new car for a faulty headlight unit.

I have to mention that the headlight unit broke down on my way home after I collected the car,

Have you got an ETA for the part? If not might be worth just rejecting the car.

Just spotted your update on the other forum entry.

So far only the official complaint at Skoda UK; that is what they came up with (apologies and good will gesture; nothing else, not even an explanation - they said that they don't have a clue what happened, nor can give reassurance that won't happen again.).
