Tyre noise at over 70mph?

Featured Replies

Please help at over 70mph there is a noise from driver side wheel like a ghost whoooo! It comes and goes! But is really annoying sounds like a ghost or like air trapped in pipes in a house? Any ideas?

Have you jacked the car up and checked the bearings....

Stone in the brakes or a wheel bearing

Hmmmmm didn't think about the stones in the breaks..,,,,

Given that the maximum speed limit on UK roads is 70mph, this problem shouldn't exist. :D
