New Columbus Better Than The Old ?

Featured Replies

I have the old Columbus in my Yeti and its bloody irritating at time. It doesn't recognise certain postcodes and wont let you enter valid postcodes, and I have traffic queues indicated on the map when there isn't a car in sight, and when I am stuck in heavy traffic it doesn't even blink !!

Hope the new one is better ??

So do I if that's how it is.

I'm not expecting much from the traffic part though. It still uses TMC only, so it is only as accurate as that service. I'm certainly expecting a step down from the TomTom unit I use now, as that also uses traffic information from other TomTom users, so much more accurate. Even that gets it wrong sometimes though.
