slight wobble on offside front - anyone jacking tonight?

Featured Replies

I had a funny drive home (same route i normally take) and my wheels at the front seem to have quick moment on way home & the steering wheel seemed to wobble. Upon getting home I jacked up both sides & nearside didn't wobble however offside did have very small piece of movement when grabbing the wheel & wiggling the wheel grabbed at the 3 & 9 o'clock positions.

My first question is this normal to have very slight play on 1 side & 2 am I worrying about nothing & what happened this afternoon could be 1 of many things & to forget it & drive on the same Kane tomorrow to see if it happens again?

Please note I recent had a ALK fitted & checked the fixing which are solid, also had alignment & balancing done 3 weeks ago. I'm confident this hasn't attributed but let's here what you all think.

Cheers

Is anyone else jacking theirs up tonight & can you check for a wobble? Ta

Could be something wasn't tightened properly after alignment

It could be but my first thought is, should it naturally have a very amount of play. Is this quite normal?

There shouldn't be any play and no wheel wobble either.

Check the wobble with the brakes applied. If it disappears then it is the wheel bearing.
